Warren Gavenlock and wife Susan established Allenka Racing at Somersby on the Central Coast.
Warren has worked internationally and as a stablehand and then foreman for his father in-law, respected veteran trainer Albert Stapleford.
Warren has a depth of knowledge and offers a hands on approach to the horses in his care with attention to detail to the individual needs of each horse in his Somersby stable.
Warren's honesty and openness provides the best enviroment for your horses protential.
Our aim is to make your racing experience as enjoyable and profitable as possible.
Silver Duke winner of over $110,000 was trained by Susan's dad "Albert Stapleford". Silver Duke was retired to Allenka Farm and is a conpanion to stable horses.
Allenka was part of the Goodmayes Orchard started in the early 1920's owned and operated by the Smith family. Rich soils made this one of the most productive Orchards in the Mangrove Mountain area. It was broken up into smaller holdings around 2000.
Allenka is 8.5 acres in size with a northern aspect,
spring fed dam and fresh country air. This rural
enviroment provides a relaxed atmosphere and an alternative to many of the large established stables
At Allenka horses and their owners are treated like one of the family. If your looking for the complete package with good old fashion country hospitality give us a call and come along for a stable visit.
Allenka is only a few minutes from the F3, horses' are floated to Wyong Racecourse daily with a choice of the jogging track, 2 sand tracks and the grass course proper Wyong Race Club provides an ideal place for Warren to train his small team.
Metropolitan, Provincial and Country tracks are all in close proximity.
Facilities at Allenka include an 8 horse walker, sandroll, large open stables with day yards.
After racing horse come home to Allenka and spend time in the grass paddock.
Horses thrive in this
relaxed rural enviroment
